Mastering the Art of Creating Quality Content: A Step-by-Step Guide

Do you rack your brains trying to come up with content? The pressure to post daily is immense and the word from gurus would have you believe you need to be plastered all over all socials to gain followers and sales. But I am a believer in QUALITY CONTENT over QUANTITY. So here are some points to remember when curating your content.

  1. Define your content pillars. 3 or 4 topics under which your content will fall. For example, Pillar 1 Engage Pillar 2 Excite Pillar 3 Inform

  2. Ask yourself: "What do my audience need? How are they feeling? How can I answer that need?"

  3. Decide on the best method to present your content. Should this content be created as a reel, a static post or carousel? Is it best served as a blog post or newsletter article?

  4. Use high quality video and photography. The algorithm will prioritize high quality content, so get familiar with your phone's camera settings.

  5. Weekly and monthly review your profile's analytical data Know what content is most popular, most engaged with and which days and times are best to post.

  6. Schedule content planning days Choose a day out of your week or a week out of the month to plan content. This ensures your content planning is productive and intentional and gives you time to run your business the way you need to.

Remember your audience and potential clients are consuming content daily, so make it memorable and useful. Also, feel free to reuse content. Can a carousel be turned into a blog post or reel?
